奇美博物館

Chi Mei Museum was built in 1992. Visitors have reached more than six hundred thousand people. The amounts, categories, and exhibition spaces of collections are still improving year by year, but it still doesn’t reach Chi Mei’s cause because the large amounts of collections are limited by exhibition scale. If the museum can be extended to make the collections exhibit in a suitable space, and combine whole environment to make a real culture art center, we believe Chi Mei Museum’s spirit on popularizing art appreciation will be practiced more completely.

Chi Mei Museum doesn’t charge for entrance to make all visitors come to visit time by time. In addition, easy music and pictures are the principles for collecting artworks of Chi Mei. They make visitors from all ages catch the feelings from artistries directly.

保安車站

Pao An Railroad Station

位於仁德區的台南市定古蹟「保安車站」，代表台灣早期鐵路木構車站的典型，成為鐵道文化的重要景點，加上紅極一時的「永保安康」火車票幫助打開知名度，吸引許多人不遠千里到此一遊。車站建築採阿里山檜木，以及來自日本的黑瓦營建而成，主結構完全不使用鐵釘，以榫接方式建造而成。入口處設破風式玄關，樑柱間開有小窗，用木條排出格狀窗櫺，顯現建築獨特的優雅。

The Tainan county historic monument of Rende township-Pao An Railroad Station represents the typical case of wood constructing railroad station of ancient Taiwan. It becomes an important scenic spot of railroad culture. The famous tickets-Safety Forever also open its fame and attract many people to come here from far. The station’s structures are built by cypresses of Alishan and black tiles of Japan. The main structure doesn’t use any nail but mortise to build it. The entrance sets wind-break hallway, and there are window lattices between beams and pillars to represent particular architecture elegance.

保安宮

Pao An Temple

Pao An was built in 1718. The main god is Pao Sheng Da Di, saluted back to Pao An Temple from Sing Ji Temple. This temple always holds a festival on March 15th of Chinese calendar every year and attracts many pilgrims go to worship. The specialist feature of Pao An temple is the gold furnace can imbibe paper money for gods automatically. It can compete with the Fu De temple of Che Cheng of Pingtung.

台南都會公園  Tainan Metropolitan Park

台南都會公園特定專用區位於台南市仁德區，計畫範圍西以台一線省道為界，東至文賢路、北至虎山路，南臨台86線東西向快速道路，面積40公頃，除規劃興闢公園外，將結合博物館、歷史文物館、陳列館、展覽館、演藝館、音樂廳或美術廳等相關設施，以博物館為主題的都會公園，將提供台南市民一個結合景觀、自然及多元化的休閒環境。

Tainan Metropolitan Park is located at Tainan County Rende Township. They plan to make Provincial highway number 1 as western border, and east to Wun Shian Rd., north to Hu Shan Rd., and the south is near Expressway No.86. The measure of this area is 40 hectares. Besides the new park, we also combine museum, historical relics hall, exhibition hall, performance hall, music hall, and art hall.
